ACCOUNT INFORMATION

How do I sign in?
You can sign into the BandEdge Membership Portal by visiting http://bandedge.houseofknives.ca/ and entering in your information.

To sign in on our website, visit https://houseofknives.ca/login.php and enter your information to make sure you earn points on your online purchases.

How do I log out?
To log out of the BandEdge Membership Portal, click the dark grey box with 3 white lines to open up the options menu. Here you will find the “Logoff” option.

To log out of our website, click “Sign Out” at the top left-hand corner of any House of Knives webpage.

How do I reset my password?
To reset your password in the BandEdge Membership Portal, open up the menu pane and choose “Change Password” or click here: http://bandedge.houseofknives.ca/?Password. You can also reset your password on the sign-in page.

To reset your password on our website, visit the sign-in page and click “Forgot your password?” to reset your password. You can also reset your password in the Your Account Details page.

The code in the rest password email doesn’t work!
If you have pressed the reset password button multiple times, you will be emailed just as many email resets, but only the last email will be valid to reset your password. Be patient and wait for the last email to come in.

How do I change my email?
To change your email in the BandEdge Membership Portal, open up the menu pane and choose “Your Profile” to update your email.

To update your email on our website, sign in and visit Your Account Details to change your password.

I get so many emails, how can I unsubscribe?
At the bottom of every email we send, there is an option to unsubscribe. Click on the link to unsubscribe and follow the prompts.

Please note you cannot unsubscribe from emails pertaining to your account or changes to the program. However, you can unsubscribe from promotional content.

Can I link my membership to someone else?
Unfortunately you cannot link or give your membership to another person. In order to keep issuing the account holder points and coupons, the account holder must have the same name as the person who signed up initially.

Help, I didn’t receive an invitation to the new BandEdge Program!
When we renovated the BandEdge Program in October 2015, we needed to reinvite all existing members to the new Program. These invitations were sent to the email that was listed on the account. Check all inbox folders including “Junk” for the email, and make sure you are checking the right address for the invitation. If you still cannot find the invitation, email us at service@houseofknives.ca.

How can I shop with my BandEdge login?
To shop online with House of Knives, you’ll need to log in to earn points. Sign in on our website with the same email address and password used on your BandEdge account, and you’ll be credited points for your purchases.

How can I make sure I earn points on my purchases?
To earn points on online purchases, you’ll need to sign in on our website with your BandEdge login information. Make sure you use the same email listed on your BandEdge account, otherwise you will not earn points. Likewise, make sure you sign in before you make you purchases, because points cannot be credited to purchases after payment is given.

 

BANDEDGE POINTS AND BENEFITS

I was supposed to get a $10 Welcome Coupon, where is it?
To receive your $10 Welcome Coupon for signing up with BandEdge, you’ll need to make a purchase, and complete your registration online. To complete your registration, look for the email sent to the address you gave during your initial transaction, and follow the prompts. This can be an online transaction or in one of our locations. Once you’ve verified your information, agreed to our terms and conditions, and created a password, you will be emailed a $10 coupon. This process can take up to 24 hours after your first purchase.

How do I redeem my Edge Points?
To redeem Edge Points, you have a couple options:

  1. If you wait to receive your rebate voucher at the end of your BandEdge year, you’ll receive a coupon for your points’ worth in store credit to use online or in-store. Additionally, if you reach certain amounts of points at the end of the year, you’ll receive bonus coupons.

  2. Otherwise, you can issue yourself vouchers to use during the year if you have the required amounts of points. You can issue yourself $10, $25, and $50 vouchers if you have the available points. However, if you issue yourself vouchers throughout the year to use, you will not receive bonus coupons with your year-end voucher.

    To issue yourself vouchers, do so through the BandEdge Membership Portal by opening the menu pane and selecting “Get Vouchers”.

How can I check my points balance?
You can check your Edge Points balance on the BandEdge Membership Portal by opening the menu pane, and selecting “Points Statement”. See the Points Available/Balance line for your balance.

How can I use my vouchers and coupons?
You can use your vouchers and coupons by entering in the code when making an online purchase, or presenting the voucher or voucher code to a store staff member before payment.

I heard my points are all locked up for a year, is this true?
Yes and no. It is true, you can keep your points banked for an entire year, but in return you will get a rebate coupon at the end of the year for your points’ worth in store credit, plus any bonus coupons you qualify for.

If you do not want to wait a year to use your points, you can issue yourself vouchers on the BandEdge Membership Portal to use on your purchases. However, issuing yourself vouchers means you will not receive bonus coupons with your rebate coupon at the end of the year.

Can I give coupons to my friends?
Unfortunately, you cannot give your coupons or vouchers to your friends to use; they are for you benefit only. To use your coupons or vouchers, you will have to be present at the transaction, and the purchase will have to be made on your BandEdge account.

Do I have to make a purchase every 2 years to keep my account?
To keep your account open, you need to make a transaction every 2 years, but this does not mean you must make a purchase. An account must show activity to remain open, which can be produced by:

  • receiving a bonus on your birthday (if you have your birthday information listed)
  • receiving a yearly rebate bonus
  • filling out a survey to receive 100 points
  • issuing yourself a coupon to use in-store or online
