From CIVIVI and Jim O’Young comes the third iteration of the Synergy folding knife. The original Synergy was designed by the retired mechanical design engineer turned competitive shooter, and on the 20th anniversary of the original Synergy design, Jim partnered with WE Knives to continue the legacy and introduce an updated and re-engineered Synergy 2. 

 

The CIVIVI Synergy 3 gives you the exact same sleek profile and smooth action as the original and the WE Knives design, but is made more affordable due to the use of more wallet-friendly (but still high performance) materials. There is still impressive action thanks to the caged ceramic bearings, the ergonomic handle is made from 3d machined G10, and the whole knife has been shrunk down to be more EDC appropriate.

 

This model has a tanto blade of black hand rubbed Damascus clad 10Cr15CoMoV and 9Cr18MoV steel and a black G10 with twill carbon fiber handle.
