Description
The Kershaw Ferrite (1557TI) is a versatile EDC, meant for comfort and ease of use. Opening it up, you’ll quickly learn how fun the Kershaw SpeedSafe opening is, and how fast and easy the blade deploys. It snaps right open and locks up firmly with the sturdy frame lock.
The blade itself is an interesting shape. The deep contour on the back of the blade allows the user more control when doing detail work, as a place to rest your fingers. The clipped spear-point blade gives the Ferrite a slim look and piercing capability.
The Ferrite is covers in a grey, titanium carbo-nitride coating on both the blade and scales, giving it enhanced wear-resistance, low friction, and a higher hardness. The Ferrite features a reversible pocket clip for left or right handed carry, and a lanyard hole for extra carry options.
