The Cormorant folding knife designed by Kizer, is a modern folder outfitted with quality, practical materials. It has a clip point blade made from ELMAX steel. The FatCarbon handle houses a button lock that allows easy one-handed operation.
The Cormorant Blade made from ELMAX steel. Elmax steel is very hard with excellent edge retention and wear resistance. Then add its corrosion resistance, and you win. What really makes it unique is that, somehow, despite its high hardness, it is also quite tough, and it is not as hard to grind as other super steels.
Cormorant’s Handle is made of Fatcarbon. FAT Carbon Materials has the most unique and high quality carbon fiber materials. Perfect for knife making. Their amazing patterns and metal infused resins look incredible on any project. This pattern has alternating layers of unidirectional carbon fiber with layers of copper infused epoxy giving it a unique patterned look.
