You can return your online order within 30 - 60 days if:

1. You have proof of purchase.
2. The item(s) are returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, or 60 days with gift receipt for a refund onto a House of Knives gift card.
3. The item(s) are in original and re-sellable condition, with original packaging.
4. The item(s) satisfy the below Terms & Conditions and are not Non-Returnable Items.
5. House of Knives store locations can facilitate the return shipment of your order to the warehouse. Once it arrives back to the warehouse your return can be processed. 
6. Any claims for packages marked delivered that are missing must be claimed within 5 days through the Route application or via this link: Claims

Return by Shipment

To return your order by shipment:

1.  Email [email protected] with:
   - Clear photos of the item
   - A detailed description of your return or exchange request
2. Once you receive approval for return, we will provide you with a return shipping address.
   *Returns that are sent back without prior approval will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be shipped in appropriate packaging to ensure the safe delivery. Items received damaged during transit will not be accepted for return. We recommend purchasing insurance and shipping your return via a traceable method. Visit your local House of Knives location and they can ship your order back to the warehouse free! Your return will be received when it is received at the House of Knives warehouse. 

Terms & Conditions

1. Online purchases can be returned directly the House of Knives warehouse via courier. These items cannot be returned or exchanged in-store. House of Knives stores can assist by shipping your return  to the warehouse for processing.
2. Any claims for packages marked delivered that are missing must be claimed within 5 days through the Route application or via this link: Claims
3. Items must be in original condition and include their original packaging. House of Knives reserves the right to apply a restocking fee if items do not meet this standard.
4. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
5. Shipping costs for exchanges are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.
6. Returns for online purchases must be approved by our Returns Department before they are sent back. Returns sent back without approval will be denied.
7. Any "Gift/Bonus with Purchase" items must accompany the return to receive a full refund. If these items do not accompany the return, the retail value of the Gift/Bonus items will be deducted from the total refund.
8. All returns that were shipped with Free Shipping will incur a $10-$20 shipping charge depending on the location the item was shipped to. This will be deducted from your refund.
9. Refunds will be processed back to the same method of payment used to pay for the order.

Non-Returnable Items

• Items such as razors, shaving creams, manicure implements/sets, and other personal care items are non-returnable and final sale for hygienic reasons.
  
  
• Items that are clearance or final sale cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
  
  
• Gift certificates are non-refundable. Items purchased with a gift certificate or store credit are non-refundable, and can only be exchanged for another item or for another gift card/store credit.

Items Not Purchased Through www.houseofknives.ca

Items purchased from other channels that are fulfilled by House of Knives must be returned via the method they are obtained. They cannot be returned or exchanged in store. Please check the return instructions for those specific channels for details.\
