For all your small tasks, like coring apples, peeling potatoes, or slicing ginger, use the Shun Classic 3" Paring Knife. Its small size allows for exceptional blade control and precision. For any larger tasks, use the Shun Classic 7" Asian Chef Knife. This knife, also known as a Gyuto, is the Japanese version of our typical western cook's knife. It's an all-purpose blade that excels with meat, fish, and vegetables, and is lighter than the typical chef's knife for more agile use. This set is sold exclusively by House of Knives.

The Shun Classic series are award-winning knives crafted in the style of ancient samurai sword making. Each blade is Damascus-clad in 68 layers of stainless steel around a VG-MAX hardened steel cutting core, ensuring the most precise edge every time you sharpen. The D-shaped handle is made of Ebony Pakkawood, fitting comfortably in the hand and providing optimal control during use. Each blade is sharpened to 16° per side, creating a razor-like edge that is acutely precise. Each blade is beautiful, supremely function, and hand-crafted in Japan. Exclusive to House of Knives.
