For all your main tasks where you need power behind a decent blade length, the Shun Classic 8" Chef Knife is your go-to blade. You can do almost everything with a proper chef's knife like this one. For storage and maintenance, this set also comes with a honing steel and a 6-Slot Bamboo Block. This set is sold exclusively at House of Knives.

The Shun Classic series are award-winning knives crafted in the style of ancient samurai sword making. Each blade is Damascus-clad in 68 layers of stainless steel around a VG-MAX hardened steel cutting core, ensuring the most precise edge every time you sharpen. The D-shaped handle is made of Ebony Pakkawood, fitting comfortably in the hand and providing optimal control during use. Each blade is sharpened to 16° per side, creating a razor-like edge that is acutely precise. Each blade is beautiful, supremely function, and hand-crafted in Japan. Exclusive to House of Knives.
