The Shun Classic Blonde Combination Honing Steel has two surfaces: a smooth one for day-to-day honing, and a micro-ribbed one for weekly honing. It has a built-in angle on the handle, which makes it easy to hone your knives to the correct 16 degree Shun angle. The premium blonde PakkaWood handle provides a secure grip and matches the handles of the rest of the beautiful Shun Classic Blonde line.

Shun Classic Blonde is everything you love about the venerable Shun Classic series, but with a beautiful blonde Pakkawood handle. Crafted to exactly the same standards as its sister line, the Shun Classic Blonde knives feature gorgeous Damascus clad blades of layered stainless steel around a proprietary VG-MAX cutting core, offering maximum cutting performance, strength, corrosion resistance, and of course a razor-sharp 16° edge. These handcrafted knife are design with a full composite tang so each Classic remains lightweight, yet perfectly balanced. Finished off with a D-shaped Blonde Pakkawood handle, the Shun Classics are comfortable and offer a secure, traditional Japanese grip.
