The limited edition 4” Shun Classic “Try Me” paring knife boasts both beauty and function in its tasteful and contemporary design. The razor-sharp plain edge blade is made with high-performance VG-MAX steel then clad with 34 layers of Damascus stainless steel on each side, leaving the knife with incredible edge retention and durability as well as a stunning appearance. The full tang provides perfect balance. As any paring knife, this is perfect for chopping small foods, trimming, paring, and coring, but the extra length makes it easy to tackle larger fruits and vegetables with ease.
Also as featured in the Shun Classic line, this knife has a beautiful and durable d-shaped ebony pakkawood handle that is comfortable for both right and left-handed users and won’t harbour bacteria. There is no steel cap on the handle, setting this knife apart in your knife block or drawer.
