Handcrafted in Seki City by Yaxell, the Dragon 9” Bread Knife uses nitrogen-enriched BD1N steel. This American steel is hardened to a 63 Rockwell Hardness, similar to Japanese knives, but remarkably retains its extreme durability. The Dragon was built for Western beat-up-ability, but to exemplify Japanese precision and grace of design. The Dragon’s one-piece construction is finished with a black resin Micarta handle and three stainless steel rivets. Perfectly balanced and incredibly sharp, the Dragon is an extraordinarily capable knife.
