Payment Methods
We accept all of the following:
Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit, American Express credit cards (Canada only), PayPal (Canada & USA), and Sezzle (Canada & USA). The preferred method of payment for all USA orders or where the shipping address is different than the billing address is via PayPal - to pay with PayPal a PayPal account is not required.
Online Order Return Policy
Return Requirements
We will accept returns and exchanges of eligible items in new and unused/resalable condition, in our sole discretion within 30 days of receipt with a valid proof of purchase. Shipping fees will not be refunded, and customers are responsible for all return costs.
Select items cannot be returned, exchanged or cancelled after shipment including Personal Care items (e.g., razors, shaving creams), Clearance items, and Gift Certificates.
Note:
• Items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund
• Orders can be returned within 60 days with a gift receipt for a refund on a House of Knives gift card
• "Gift/Bonus with Purchase" items must be included for a full refund; otherwise, their value will be deducted from your refund
• Returns for orders shipped with free shipping will incur a $10-$20 restocking fee.
Online Order Return Process
Email [email protected] your return request including a clear photo of the item and a detailed description of your return request reason. You will receive an email back with a return approval and further instructions.
All approved returns will need to be shipped to the House of Knives warehouse located at:
3918 Kitchener Street, Burnaby, BC, V5C 3M2, Canada.
Items must be properly packaged to prevent damage during transit; damaged items will not be accepted. Tracking and insurance are recommended.
House of Knives locations can assist in facilitating returning your order. Simply bring your approved return to any House of Knives location and they will ship your order back to our warehouse. Once your order arrives at our warehouse your order will be inspected and your refund will be completed. This process can take between 7-14 days.
Note:
• Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (Credit Cards, Paypal or Sezzle).
• Claims for missing packages marked as delivered must be made via Route.
Refund Via Sezzle
All refunds for orders paid via Sezzle are refunded/processed by Sezzle once House of Knives approves the refund.
Anything refunded to you will first cancel outstanding payments, and then whatever is left over will be returned to a card on file, starting with your default payment methods. (We cannot refund via bank account or prepaid cards.)
Refunds can take up to 10 business days to fully process from the date you receive your confirmation email from Sezzle. Business days exclude weekends and holidays.
Sometimes, refunds can be returned in installments to reflect how the payments were originally made, so it’s helpful to check for anything labeled “Sezzle” rather than specific amounts.

Items purchased through Amazon.ca or other third-party marketplaces must be returned through the website they were purchased through. These orders cannot be returned in-store. Please check each marketplace for specific return instructions.
