The Dovo La Forme straight razor is variant of the beloved classic “Bismarck” 6/8″ carbon steel blank with a very unique set of scales.The La Forme weighs about sixty-three grams, with dense and unique pakkawood scales with flush style non-pivot pin.  The “La Forme” theme’s carried over to the face of the brightly-polished blade.

A 6/8″ razor in this classic shape is ideal for those with large hands.  Secondly, the shoulderless S-curve thumbnotch falls naturally to one’s thumb.  No ridge exists to avoid on strop or stone as with a normal-bodied razor.  Consequently, no file jimps (small ridges on tang) are needed here!  The La Forme is, above all, an easy razor to handle on face, stone, and strop alike.
