OCTOBER 23, 2020 - A COVID UPDATE FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON

Hello Everyone, 

As a Canadian-owned and operated business, we would like to thank you for your continued support as we all navigate 2020 together. This will be a Holiday Season unlike any other and we have been working hard to provide you with the products you need while protecting the health of our staff and customers. 

While so much is unknown, there are a few things we are sure of as we approach this gift-giving season:

  • Many manufacturers are facing supply problems and shortages of some products, so some items may take longer to restock
  • There have been changes in typical purchase patterns that can create quick outages of some products
  • There will be delivery delays! Especially as we get closer to Christmas
  • The "second wave" is beginning and may result in closures or further restrictions in our stores

When shopping for gifts this year, to make sure you get what you want when you need it—before Christmas Eve!—we recommend getting started as early as you can. 

Our knowledgeable in-store staff and online customer service team are here to help with any questions you may have.

APRIL 19, 2020 - SHIPPING UPDATE

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Canada Post has temporarily suspended all time guarantees regarding their shipments. Shipment time will vary with each destination, and we are seeing an average of 2-14 days. In some cases shipments are delayed at particular processing centers and shipping times may drastically increase. We are continually re-evaluating our estimated shipping times and are working closely with Canada Post to ensure that we can deliver your package safely and quickly. If your shipment has been delayed beyond the expected delivery date, please wait an additional 72 hours for Canada Post to provide an update. After 72 hours please contact us and we can evaluate the next steps that will need to be taken; however, 99% of all shipment delays are resolved the fastest by waiting for the original shipment. March 19, 2020 - COVID Update

Dear Customers,

As our communities all work hard to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we want to ensure we do our part to support social distancing efforts. As of today March 18th, 2020, we have decided to temporarily close all store locations across Canada.

For your convenience, House of Knives will still be open online at houseofknives.ca offering home delivery services. In accordance with all public safety guidelines, we have enhanced sanitation measures in our distribution center.

As this is an ever-changing situation, we will be continually monitoring it and will adapt our business practices as required.
