The James Webb Telescope has been taking wild images from the galaxy. Get this: the pictures on the Knafs Lander 1 Cosmic Cliffs scales are 7,600 light-years away. Light years, amigos! That's mind boggling. This picture is from the Carina Nebula called NGC 3324, and it was imaged by Webb’s Near-Infrared Camera and Mid-Infrared Instrument. From NASA: "this image reveals for the first time previously invisible areas of star birth." 

The mountains and valleys of these Cosmic Cliff scales are speckled with glittering stars. They're a little reminder that the universe is bigger than just what we see in front of us.
