A velvet lining prevents the blade from being scratched or scuffed while minimising the risk of cutting yourself. The Blade Guard is also suitable for use in knife bags and rolls.

Not as substantial an item materials wisw for the price, but fit perfectly and does the job. Would have preferred a more solid and long-term non-porous material. But it was nice to be able to reach out to House of Knives from Montreal - where I am helping an elderley relative reorg. I live in Victoria, so H-of-K is a natural for me.
