Description
The Boker 1969 Z28-Damast Shadow transforms the spirit of one of America’s most celebrated muscle cars into an exclusive collector’s knife. Inspired by the legendary 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, this limited edition captures the performance, character, and unmistakable styling that made the first-generation Z28 an icon. Developed in collaboration with Italian designer Tommaso Rumici and limited to just 300 pieces worldwide, the knife combines automotive heritage with premium materials and handcrafted precision from Solingen.
At its center is an 80-layer Damascus blade with black PVD finish, hand-forged by Chad Nichols in the expressive Tread pattern, inspired by the Camaro’s distinctive cowl-induction hood. Authentic material recovered from the vehicle’s upper control arm is integrated into the blade, creating a direct connection to the original machine. The ball-bearing drop point blade opens smoothly via thumb stud and locks securely with a robust stainless steel liner lock. Finished with a black hard-anodized aluminum handle shaped around the Camaro’s body lines—including references to the notchback silhouette, rear spoiler, and signature fender vents—the knife is completed by a wheel-inspired pivot and chrome door handle-inspired pocket clip. Handcrafted in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen and presented in a premium display case.
