Characteristic details borrowed from the original 98k bayonet give the knife an unmistakable historical identity while preserving a refined and functional design.

At its center is an 80-layer Damascus blade hand-forged by Chad Nichols from authentic Mauser carbine barrel steel in the expressive Ripple pattern, creating exceptional visual depth and character. A pronounced ricasso, traditional nail nick, and secure back lock ensure confident handling and reliable operation. The walnut wood handle scales, inspired by the diagonally grooved texture of the original bayonet grip, provide both comfort and authenticity, while subtle details beneath the steel bolster reference the original cleaning rod system. Handcrafted in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen, the knife is supplied in a premium floating display with a certificate of authenticity and individual serial number.
