Although more compact in overall dimensions, the Appalachian Small retains the same substantial 600 g head weight as the larger version and pairs it with a 36 cm handle crafted from premium American hickory. Known for its strength, flexibility, and excellent shock absorption, the handle is secured with both a traditional wooden wedge and a reinforcing steel sleeve for long-term durability.
