The Boker Kalashnikov Bayonet Damascus pays tribute to one of the most influential military designs of the 20th century and the engineering legacy of Mikhail Kalashnikov. Inspired by the iconic Soviet bayonet introduced alongside the AKM in 1959, this special edition combines historical significance with premium materials and modern Solingen craftsmanship. More than seven decades after the introduction of the AK-47 platform, Boker reinterprets this landmark design in an exclusive collector’s format.

At the center is a hand-forged 80-layer stainless Damascus blade by Chad Nichols, created from original steel recovered from Soviet 6Ch3 and 6Ch4 bayonets and finished in the intricate Virus pattern. The distinctive blade shape with traditional bayonet-inspired tip opens via thumb stud and locks securely with a liner lock. The handle is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black hard-anodized finish and fitted with stabilized hornbeam wood inlays, color-matched to the amber shellac tone of original rifle furniture and shaped to echo the ventilation cuts of the historic handguard. Supplied with a premium floating display, certificate of authenticity, and individual serial number, the knife is handcrafted in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen.
