Description
The Fusion Classic 6.25” Nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife, designed to get those paper-thin cuts of radish, cucumber, or ginger. Characterized by its rectangular shape and width, the nakiri is great for chopping up herbs and vegetables, and transferring ingredients from cutting board to cooking vessel. While the nakiri is very versatile and may look like a cleaver, it is not suitable for cutting bones.
The Fusion Classic line embodies control, quality, and long-lasting dependability. Featuring a German-steel blade of X50CrMoV15 steel, each blade offers excellent edge retention and stain-resistance. The modified bolster is angled to encourage a proper pinch grip on the knife, giving the user mastery over their blade. Designed with an angle bolster for ease of sharpening, the whole blade can be used from tip to heel. An ergonomic, triple-riveted ABS handle encases each knife's full tang, giving the Fusion Classic substantial strength and heft. The ABS handle is dishwasher safe, but hand-washing is recommended.
