The beautiful Kori Artisan 6.25” Nakiri is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife, designed with the fine slicing of vegetables in mind. It is the perfect tool to get those paper-thin cuts of radish, cucumber, or ginger. Characterized by its rectangular shape and width, the nakiri is great for chopping up herbs and vegetables, and transferring ingredients from cutting board to cooking vessel. The straight edge allows you to make smooth slices when you draw the tip neatly across your cutting board. While the nakiri is very versatile and may look like a cleaver, it is not suitable for cutting bones.
