The Hatsukokoro Ryuhyo Kurozome SG2 Bunka 7", a cross between the Nakiri and Gyuto, is a multi-purpose knife with a pointed tip ideal for piercing. 

Hatsukokoro Ryuhyo Kurozome SG2 knives are high-performance Japanese knives with an SG2 powdered stainless steel core that is clad in multi-layer nickel Damascus and finished in the Kurozome style - an acid-etch process that creates a strong effect that makes the layers pop. 

The ebony wood handle is made in the traditional Japanese octagonal Wa style.
