Description
The Hatsukokoro Ryuhyo Kurozome SG2 Santoku 7" is a well-rounded knife that can accomplish a lot of cutting tasks, and it excels at slicing, dicing, and mincing. Think of it as a cross between a Gyuto (chef's knife) and a Nakiri (vegetable cleaver knife).
Hatsukokoro Ryuhyo Kurozome SG2 knives are high-performance Japanese knives with an SG2 powdered stainless steel core that is clad in multi-layer nickel Damascus and finished in the Kurozome style - an acid-etch process that creates a strong effect that makes the layers pop.
The ebony wood handle is made in the traditional Japanese octagonal Wa style.
Due to the handmade nature of this knife, the colour and pattern of the knife, handle and ferrule may vary from knife to knife.
