Description
The HORL Standard Diamond grinding disc comes fitted on all HORL®3 sharpeners and is ideal for sharpening knives of all hardness grades. The disc is extremely durable, retaining its grinding performance for years, so that at any time you can sharpen your knives efficiently and with minimal removal of material.
The block diamonds on the standard diamond disc achieve up to 80% more steel removal compared to the HORL®2 version. This makes sharpening even faster and results in a more uniform grinding pattern.
A few excess diamond particles will flake off during its first use. The grinding disc will then achieve its optimum roughness, which remains constant during subsequent use. Used correctly, the disc should not need replacing.
