Description
The Boker M4 Sherman-Damast Rose Gold is a remarkable collector’s knife created as a tribute to the legendary M4 Sherman Tank, one of the most influential military vehicles of World War II. Originally developed in 1940, the Sherman served across major battlefronts and was used by nations including the United States, Canada, Great Britain, France, China, and the Soviet Union. Produced in large numbers between 1942 and 1945 and remaining in service well into the postwar years, the tank became known for its effectiveness in supporting infantry, offensive operations, and defensive strength. This knife captures that historical significance through a combination of premium materials and detailed craftsmanship.
Developed in collaboration with the Americans in Wartime Museum in Virginia, the knife features an 80-layer Damascus blade hand-forged by Chad Nichols using material sourced from restored M4 Sherman tanks. The Customized Ladder Damascus pattern reflects the appearance of tank tracks, reinforcing the connection to its historical inspiration. A refined rose gold coating enhances the blade, clip, and screws, while practical features include one-handed opening through either a flipper or thumb stud, a secure Frame Lock with Hinderer Lock-Stop protection, and a lightweight titanium-carbon handle. Handmade at the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen and limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, each knife is supplied with a certificate of authenticity, an individual serial number, and an elegant floating display presentation.
