Description
The knife features a full flat grind that provides low resistance and clean, controlled cuts when skinning and dressing game. The grind is inspired by kitchen and food preparation knives but adapted for hunting use, delivering clean cuts and low friction.
Amberg Full Flat Hunting is developed for hunters who want a robust yet precise knife. It performs equally well for skinning and field dressing game as it does at the camp kitchen, where the full flat grind delivers clean cuts and low friction. The blade is also strong enough for light carving and practical tasks in the field.
The new handle has a flatter shape and a narrower front for excellent control and the option of a pinch grip. The ridges along the spine provide natural support during precision work, and the friction pattern has been laboratory tested to ensure a safe grip even when cold, wet, or covered in blood. The ambidextrous sheath can be used by both right- and left-handed users.
The 108 mm blade is 3.2 mm thick and made of Swedish stainless 14C28N steel. It is hardened and cryogenically treated for high strength and edge retention, with a hardness of 58 HRC. The flat grind with secondary bevel provides low friction and precise cuts for skinning and field dressing. The knife is not ferro rod compatible due to its polished spine.
Amberg is made in Mora with 135 years of Swedish knife-making expertise. A durable hunting knife with a full flat grind – built for precision, hygiene, and reliability in the field.
