Description
The Morakniv Risberg Heavy Duty (C) is the most robust outdoor knife in the Risberg series, featuring a thicker blade for outdoor, camping, hunting, and crafting use. A durable and handy knife that combines power and precision.
The Heavy Duty version has a 3.2 mm thick blade and a reinforced geometry that handles more demanding tasks such as light wood splitting and powerful carving. It withstands more strain than the other Risberg models but is not intended for the same extreme use as our full-tang knives.
Developed to perform in a wide range of environments – from camping, hunting, and fishing to simple crafting and everyday use in nature. Risberg Heavy Duty handles both rough tasks and detailed work, making it a reliable tool for any season or activity.
The ergonomic handle is made entirely from durable polymer (PP) that withstands moisture, dirt, and cold. The finger guard ensures safety during use, while the hole at the end of the handle makes it easy to attach paracord. The sheath features a practical click-lock function and can be worn on either the right or left side. It can also be attached directly to the button on outdoor trousers.
The 91 mm blade is made from German carbon steel (C100S) and is 3.2 mm thick. The steel offers high strength and long-lasting sharpness with a hardness of 57.5 HRC, while the 27° edge angle provides durability for tougher work. The edge extends all the way into the handle for improved balance and power transfer.
Risberg Heavy Duty is made in Mora from carefully selected materials and 135 years of Swedish knife-making expertise. A strong and reliable carbon steel outdoor knife built to last – ready to take on demanding tasks in the field.
