The Senzo Twisted Octagon Chef's Knife 200mm brings traditional Japanese style to the present day. The blade has a high-grade VG10 steel core that provides hardness, abrasion resistance, and a long lasting edge. The cutting core is then layered with 33 layers on each side, and a DP layer, for a total of 69 layers – creating the beautifully rippled pattern that comes with Damascus cladding. The light pakkawood handle is inspired by the traditional octagonal handle found in Japanese knives, but with a twist – literally. The durable handle is twisted and rounded to make it easy and comfortable to grip.
