Designed by Paul Alexander, a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and passionate knife enthusiast, the NAND is a distinctive addition to the SLIPIT™ series of non-locking folding knives. In its closed position, the "tail" of the full-flat-ground blade extends from the pivot-pin end of the handle, allowing for one-handed opening similar to a classic straight razor. Once open, twin ball bearing detents secure the blade in place, while the Ball Joint Non-Locking Mechanism, hand pressure on the tail, and finger choils ensure a safe, stable grip. The M398 stainless steel blade features a functional Trademark Round Hole™, and the handle scales are precision-machined from solid titanium, with a reversible deep-pocket wire clip for ambidextrous left or right-side, tip-up carry.
