Its blade is meticulously crafted from Damasteel® Björkmans Twist™ DS93X™—a spectacular pattern-welded steel with a grain reminiscent of natural wood. Named after a Swedish bladesmith who wanted a more intense expression of Damasteel’s Dense Twist™ pattern, this remarkable blade material is produced by Damasteel’s proprietary powder metallurgy process, which ensures an exceptionally homogenous structure for superior cutting performance. No two pieces of this steel are identical—a fact that is clearly revealed by the full-flat grind of this knife’s blade. To showcase this stunning blade steel, the handle of this elite knife features smooth ivory G-10 scales that house its notched-joint non-locking mechanism, a stainless steel backspacer, and a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that provides left or right-side tip-up carry.
