Description
The Black Tusk Trad isn't messing around when it comes to function. Named for the traditional style of climbing that keeps you both mentally and physically on your game, the Black Tusk Trad is designed to aid you in tough scenarios. Just like any climb, your focus is going to be on keeping a good grip, and the Trad delivers gripability in spades. Featuring a fully jimped spine on the handle, this knife is going nowhere when you have a hold on it. The beautifully milled green G10 handle—also available in black—has smooth and elegant line work that not only looks great, but feels amazing in hand. And the longer, downward curve to the handle will fit comfortably even in large hands.
The Trad features a partially serrated, drop point blade of D2 steel, which opens up manually via the one-sided thumbstud. This knife is also available with a plain edge blade. A sturdy liner lock keeps the blade securely in place when locked out, and adds some decent strength and heft to the knife. When you’re ready to put the Trad away, you have a pocket clip that follows the lines of the handle, or a wide lanyard hole for extra carrying options.
