Description
The unique and powerful Provoke Desert Sand from CRKT is the next iteration of the innovative morphing knife that became an instant classic. Designer Joe Caswell modelled the Provoke after the traditional Indonesian karambit knife with a hawkbill-style blade forged from D2 steel for durability and edge retention. The blade is finished with Cerakote desert sand tan coloured coating for enhanced protection.
What really sets the Provoke apart is the ingenious opening mechanism of this futuristic folder. The unique forward opening blade is built with Kinematic innovation, allowing for safe carry and rapid deployment without changing your grip on the handle. Thumb pressure on the upper crossbar sets the Provoke into motion, causing the blade to lunge to life and lock into place while still having a firm grasp on the handle made with aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum. Light but supremely tough, the handle is also finished with the Cerakote coating. The final touch is the pocket clip that sits completely flush with the handle and is activated with light thumb pressure.
