Buck PakLite fixed blade knives are lightweight and designed for heavy outdoor use. Built for the hunters and outdoorsmen who count every ounce in their packs, these knives feature a full-tang, skeletonized construction with minimalist, removable handles for easy cleaning. The blades are made from S35VN stainless steel.
The OD green micarta Field Kit Pro includes two knife models - the 631 PakLite Field Pro and the 635 PakLite Cape Pro- plus a black polypropylene sheath. The sheath includes an optional adapter plate that connects the two knives for simplified carry.
The 631 PakLite Field Knife is the larger of the two knives and is designed as a general-purpose hunting knife, but it also makes a great survival/outdoors knife. The lightweight, full-tang, skeletal design weighs only 3.10 ounces. This design gives the knife exceptional strength and the ability to process an entire animal without the need to resharpen in the field. The skinner blade shape allows for detailed work, while lessening the chance of puncturing the animal.
