The Global G2 8" Chef's Knife (71G2) is constructed with a single piece of CROMOVA 18 Stainless Steel, a proprietary material exclusive to the company. With it, they are able to create an ultra-durable, double-sided edge that is ice tempered and hardened to a 56 - 58 Rockwell hardness, allowing the blade to remain sharp for much longer under normal use. The hollow, sand-filled handles, allow each knife to be balanced with extraordinary precision, and the seamless transition from handle to blade not only makes the knife comfortable to hold, but it also prevents food from getting trapped during a good hand washing, which is recommended, since dishwashers can harm this beautiful knife.
Also known as a Nakiri knife the Global GS Series 5.5" Vegetable Knife is a Japanese-style square-tip knife that is great for chopping meat, root vegetables and big prep jobs. Popular alternative to the Santoku, this vegetable knife is a perfect every-day knife for all general cooking purposes.
The GS Series features comparatively short blade lengths, such as petty knives and paring knives. Features of these knives in this series are functionality that satisfies professional users, and a wide variety of products.
The Global GSF15 3" Peeling Knife is a small and versatile knife with a slim blade with centre tip and straight cutting edge. This knife peels, cuts, cleans and garnishes fruit and vegetables.
The Global GSF is a forged series that is drop-forged for durability in professional kitchens. The GSF Series is a classic collection of small and medium-sized knives with weighted hollow handles. This series is suitable for all areas of food preparation. The GSF products are heavier than the G and GS series.
