Following the success of the Vanguard series version of the Begleiter, Kizer has introduced a premium version from celebrated knife designer, Azo. This modern, slim-line folder features a stoneswashed tanto blade of high-grade S35VN steel. The blade has a compound grind—a hollow grind followed by a flat grind tanto tip. 

The handle is made from lightweight and visually stunning black "shredded" carbon fiber with an inlaid stainless steel liner lock. Opening the Begleiter is easy and fast with the flipper and you get extremely smooth blade action from the ceramic ball bearings.
