The Kizer Gryphon uses high-quality 9Cr18MoV steel blade, expertly chosen for its good combination of wear resistance and corrosion resistance. 

The Gryphon adopts the Persian style Tanto blade shape based on the wings of Gryphon. This blade shape performs well in tip penetration and engraving and scraping (piercing tasks), and the cross-section blade can also be used for daily cutting operations.

In order to increase the convenience of use, Kizer chose a button lock structure with a lower threshold and a G10 handle that is lighter in weight and has strong environmental adaptability.
